Affiliate program terms
The plain-English rules of the Resubmitly partner program. By applying or taking part, you agree to them.
Last updated November 3, 2026These terms are an agreement between you (the partner) and Resubmitly (we, us). They cover the Resubmitly affiliate program, which we also call the partner program. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply as well. If anything here is unclear, email hello@resubmitly.com before you promote us.
At a glance
These are our current program settings. Your partner dashboard always shows the rates that apply to you.
1. Who can join
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
- You need a real audience or community: a channel, newsletter, blog, podcast, group or similar, in your own name or your company's name.
- We review every application. We may approve or decline at our discretion, and we don't have to give a reason.
- One partner account per person or company. The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
- We may ask you to confirm who you are and that you own the channel you listed.
2. Your code and link
When we approve you, we give you a personal code and a link, for example resubmitly.com/?ref=YOURCODE. They belong to us. We can change or disable them if these terms are broken, or if the program ends. You may share them in your own content, and in places where you have permission to post.
3. How attribution works
- A customer is linked to you when they click your link, or when they enter your code at checkout.
- A click counts for 30 days. If the customer places an order within that time, the order is credited to you.
- The first referral wins. If a customer was already linked to another partner within that window, that partner keeps the credit, even if your code is used later. The customer still gets the discount.
- Tracking relies on the customer's browser storage and on the code they enter. If they block or clear that storage, or order from another device without entering your code, we may not be able to credit you. We can't add credit after the fact.
- We decide unclear cases in good faith. Our records are final.
4. Commissions
- You earn 20% of the amount a referred customer actually pays, after their discount, on every paid order. Taxes and payment-processing fees are not part of that amount.
- Commissions are earned on paid orders only. Free checks, unpaid orders and cancelled orders earn nothing.
- A commission is pending when the customer pays. It becomes approved after the 7-day refund window ends. If the order is refunded, charged back or cancelled, or if we find it broke these terms, the commission is reversed. If it was already paid out, we deduct it from your next payout.
- The rate shown in your partner dashboard is the one that applies to you. We can change rates for future orders with 14 days' notice by email. Orders placed before the change keep the old rate.
- Nothing is earned on your own orders, or on orders placed by your company, your employees or your household.
5. The customer discount
Customers who use your code or link get 10% off a paid plan. The discount is meant for new customers. It can't be combined with other codes, and we can change it for future orders.
6. Payouts
- We pay approved commissions once a month, via PayPal, to the PayPal email in your partner dashboard. Keep it correct. We aren't responsible for payments sent to an address you entered by mistake.
- The minimum payout is $50. If your approved balance is lower, it rolls over to the next month.
- PayPal may charge fees on money you receive. Those are between you and PayPal.
- We may delay a payout while we look into unusual activity, such as many orders from the same place, refunds or chargebacks. We'll tell you if that happens.
- All amounts are in US dollars.
7. Taxes
You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn. If you're in the United States, we may ask you for a completed Form W-9 before your first payout. If you're outside the United States, we may ask for a Form W-8BEN. We may hold payouts until we have the form, and we may withhold tax where the law requires it. Nothing on this page is tax advice.
8. How you may promote
Share your code and link in your own videos, posts, newsletters, podcasts and communities, in your own words, honestly. You can describe what we do and what we promise: a fixed price, unlimited resubmissions, and a full refund if the app isn't approved. You can use the logo files and the texts from the promo kit in your partner dashboard. You may edit the texts as long as they stay accurate.
9. What you may not do
- Refer yourself. No orders from you, your company, your employees or your household.
- Post your code on coupon or deal sites, in browser extensions, or anywhere built to collect discount codes.
- Run paid ads on our name. Don't bid on "Resubmitly", misspellings of it, or terms like "Resubmitly coupon" or "Resubmitly discount" on search engines or social platforms. Don't use our name in a domain, a username or an ad as if you were us.
- Spam. No unsolicited email, direct messages or comment spam, and no posting where ads aren't welcome.
- Make misleading claims. Never say or suggest "guaranteed approval", "official", "certified", "authorized", "Apple partner" or "Google partner". Don't invent numbers, and don't say we submit apps under our own account. Apple and Google alone decide whether an app is approved.
- Manipulate tracking. No cookie stuffing, hidden iframes, forced clicks, auto-redirects, or software that changes other people's attribution.
- Pay people to buy. No cash back, rebates or other rewards for using your code, unless we agree in writing.
- Run a sub-affiliate network or share your code with other promoters.
- Use our own channels (our social accounts, our site, our support inbox) to promote your code.
- Promote next to illegal, hateful or adult content, or content that infringes someone's rights.
10. Disclosure (FTC)
In the United States, the FTC's Endorsement Guides require you to clearly disclose that you may be paid, every time you share your code or link. Similar laws apply in many other countries. This means:
- Put the disclosure near the recommendation, where people see it before they act. In a video, say it or show it in the video itself, not only in the description. On social posts, put it in the post, not only in your bio.
- Use this exact wording, or something as clear: "I may earn a commission if you use my code." Labels like "#ad" or "Paid link" next to the link also work.
- Vague labels are not enough: "partner", "ambassador", "thanks to Resubmitly", or a disclosure hidden behind a "more" link.
We're required to check how partners promote us. If a post is missing a disclosure, we'll ask you to fix it. Repeated problems can pause or end your account.
11. Trademarks and brand
You can use the name "Resubmitly" in plain text, and the logo files from the promo kit, without changes. Don't make it look like you are us, or that we endorse your channel. Don't use Apple's or Google's logos. When you mention the stores, say "on the App Store" and "Google Play". Resubmitly is an independent service and is not affiliated with Apple or Google.
12. Pausing, reversing and ending
- We can pause your account, hold payouts or reverse commissions while we look into a suspected breach of these terms or suspicious activity.
- If we end your account because of a breach, you lose any commissions that haven't been paid yet.
- Either of us can end this agreement at any time, by email. Once it ends, stop using your code and link. Approved commissions earned before that date are paid at the next monthly payout.
- We can change or end the program as a whole. If we end it, we pay the approved commissions earned before the end date.
13. Changes to these terms
We can update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and, for changes that matter, email you at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep taking part after that, the new terms apply to you.
14. The relationship
You're an independent partner, not our employee, agent or legal partner. You can't make promises on our behalf, and you pay your own costs. We use the word "partner" in its everyday sense.
15. Liability
The program is provided as is. We don't promise any level of income, clicks or orders. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commissions we owe you. These terms follow the same governing law and dispute rules as our Terms of Service.
