Base44 app rejected? Here's why, and how we fix it.
Base44 builds and hosts the whole app for you: screens, data and login. That convenience is also why the stores push back. Here's what reviewers usually see in a Base44 app, and how we get past it.
We are unable to successfully access all or part of the app. In order to continue the review, we need a demo account and password with full access to your app's features.
Why Base44 apps get rejected
A Base44 app is a web app that Base44 hosts for you, with login and data built in. To reach a phone, it usually goes inside an app shell. These are the problems we see most.
- Login switched on for the whole appMany Base44 apps ask people to sign in before they see anything. Apple calls that Guideline 5.1.1 when parts of the app don't need an account.
- No demo account for the reviewerIf everything is behind a login and the reviewer has no working account, review simply stops.
- A hosted website in a frameThe app shell loads the Base44 web app and adds nothing, which is Guideline 4.2.
- Privacy pieces missingNo privacy policy page, and no way to delete an account in the app.
- The generated lookLayouts that look like many other generated apps make reviewers look harder.

What we fix
Every app is different, but these come up again and again:
We make the changes inside your own Base44 app and your own developer account. The app stays yours, and it's resubmitted from your account, not ours. If it comes back rejected, we keep going at no extra cost.
How long it takes
- Day 0You share your projectA guest invite to your Base44 app, plus the rejection message.

Questions about Base44 apps
Can a Base44 app get onto the App Store?
Yes. The stores don't reject apps for being made with Base44. They reject apps that feel like a website, hide everything behind a login, or skip the privacy rules. Those can be fixed.
Does inviting you cost me anything on Base44?
Base44 says invitees don't need their own paid plan and there are no seats to buy. Work done inside the app uses your workspace's credits, so tell us if you're running low.
Will you see my other apps?
No. As a guest we can only open the app you invited us to.
Can I keep building in Base44 afterwards?
Yes. Everything stays in your Base44 app. If a later update brings a new rejection, our care plan covers it.
Built with something else?
Your app, approved.
Share your project in two minutes. We review it within a day and get to work inside your own account.
