FlutterFlow app rejected? Here's why, and how we fix it.
FlutterFlow apps are real native apps, so they rarely get the "just a website" rejection. What they get instead are crashes from unfinished setup, privacy gaps and template looks. All fixable.
One or more purpose strings in the app do not sufficiently explain the use of protected resources. Purpose strings must clearly and completely describe the app's use of data and, in most cases, provide an example of how the data will be used.
Why FlutterFlow apps get rejected
FlutterFlow builds Flutter apps that run natively on iPhone and Android phones. That skips the web-wrapper problem. The rejections come from elsewhere.
- Crashes from unfinished setupA Firebase or API connection that was never completed for iPhone, and the app closes the moment the reviewer opens it.
- Permission text left vagueCamera, photo and location requests with generic or missing explanations, which Apple rejects under 5.1.1.
- The template lookApps built from popular templates with little changed can land in Guideline 4.3, the spam rule.
- Placeholder pages and test dataUnfinished pages, sample users and test content still reachable in the app.
- Accounts with no way outSign-up works, but there's no way to delete the account inside the app.

What we fix
Every app is different, but these come up again and again:
We make the changes inside your own FlutterFlow project and your own developer account. The app stays yours, and it's resubmitted from your account, not ours. If it comes back rejected, we keep going at no extra cost.
How long it takes
- Day 0You share your projectA collaborator invite from your FlutterFlow settings, plus the rejection message.
- Day 1We review itYou get a plain-English plan in your dashboard.
- Days 1–5We make the changesMost fixes take a few days. Bigger ones can take longer; we tell you up front.
- ThenResubmitted from your accountThe store reviews it again, usually within one to three days.
- DoneApproved, or we go againUnlimited resubmissions. Full refund if it's never approved.
Questions about FlutterFlow apps
FlutterFlow apps are native. Why was mine rejected?
Native means it won't be called a website, but review checks much more: stability, privacy, payments, and whether the app is finished and original. Those are the usual FlutterFlow issues.
Do I need a paid FlutterFlow plan to work with you?
Not for the review. Read-only invites work on every plan. For the changes it depends on your plan, and we tell you the cheapest route first.
Will the fix stay in FlutterFlow?
With edit access, yes: changes are made in your project and you keep building visually. If we work from a code download instead, the fix lives in the code, and we explain what that means for future updates.
My app started from a template. Is that a 4.3 risk?
It can be, if little has changed. Send it to the free check and we'll tell you honestly. More on Guideline 4.3.
Built with something else?
